okay on my 1996 e38 i replaced the stereo with an aftermarket one. as we all know the new stereo goes where the tape deck is. now i have the oem bmw stereo in the dash still and i want to take it out is there any din kits or just a plate that can go across and cover up where the oem bmw radio was?

nope...unless you make one. Or you can just leave it there like most other people do. And besides why would you want to remove that, it does more than just display radio stations. It does fuel economy, car CODE, vehicle stats, etc. I would just leave it be.

Unless you custom fab something, there is nothing you can cover it up with. If the dead pixels annoy you that much, unplug the MID and leave it in. I won't display anything, but nothing will be missing from your dash.
