I am no expert so I figured I would ask those of you who know a who bunch more then I do. Here is my question
As a few of you may know my Friend Jason with the Imola 330CI bought GONZJED M3 a week ago. He was asking me if he can switch the wheels from his 330CI (M6 Replicas) to the M3 and from the M3 to the 330CI. I told him I did not think so as the offset is different between NON M series and M series. Is this correct?
His 330CI has the M sports package so does that make a difference? or will it still not work?
or will it work and I am just totally wrong.

i'm not too sure, but i think the offset for the rear is different...
couldnt hurt to just try and see if anything rubs (or looks stupid) though...:D

that was my recommendation told him we could switch one front and one rear see if they rub. he mentioned that he is thinking of taking the easy way out and buying some CSL replicas black in color..Told him I would take the M6 replicas off his hands and put them on my 325I and give him the ZHP's back...lol

The front wheels should fit but the rear wont because of the offset. But he chould run spacers in the rear to make the M6 replicals fit on the rear for the M3. But when he try to put the M3 wheels on the 330ci. It will stick out in the rear because of the offset.
what size spacers do you recommend for the rear? 5MM? the wheels wont fit the 330 even though it has the M sports package correct and thanks Ramon

It depends on the offset of the M6 wheels? But when I had my breytons (E46 fitment) on my 540i. I had to put 25mm H&R spacers for the rear.

not sure of the offset on the M6 Wheels.. 25MM huh. I will tell him screw it and buy the CSL replicas...lol..

Stock E46 OEM 19's:
19 x 9.5 rear with a 27mm offset
19 x 8 for the front with a 47mm offset
