alright, im losing it now...my car starts and runs beautiful, and idle is perfect, so to my confusion, my a/f gauge says im apparently running superduper lean. i thought i reconnected the gauge wrong, but it is right its lean...i drove it down the street and it has about 140 hp, it doesnt hessitate or anything, it just runs exactly like the m42 did.
so......i dont see any obvious vacuum leaks, tested all injectors, stock fuel pressure regulator from an obd1 car seems to run fine(connected correctly), if its actually capable of a 3.2, the only thing fishy is that the m50 intake manifold seems to be expanding when i pull on the throttle cable. its not cracked and im not seeing things. im also running a new racers market custom chip for red lable 413 ecu to s52 swap. any guess would greatly be apreciated
thanks

I do not know if this will help or not, but I also have a E30 318, swapped to a 2.8 with oBD I harness and management, the only areas I found to be concerned with - tach signal incorrect (just change the chip on the face lower left of cluster face), to that of a 325 it will change the tach reading from 4 cyl. to 6, also I have heard of others mixing up the coolant sensors on the head giving incorrect readings, I found mine had a lean mixture, too little fuel, switched out the in tank pump with higher volume pump, this REALLY helped a bunch, other than that would make sure the intake is flush and not binding on the brake booster - make sure you have no air leaks there. I dino'ed and with the M3 Cams, header and straight 3" exhaust (no cat) I am getting 209 hp Rear wheel and thats with 2.79 diff.

Take care.
