Got the Z out of the shop yesterday! I have mixed feelings about it though. It's just not perfect! The bodyshop is going to re-do alot of it because the bodywork is noticeable and the paint on the new hood is odd looking.(kinda stripey) Plus they painted one of the locksets on the door. The manager was totally aware of the inferior work and said up front he would have it all redone but, if I left it there it would be a couple of more weeks. He said if I would wait a few weeks he could get it in and out in a couple of days. He put it in wtiting. Anyway here are some before and after shots....:) It's great having a new top!!!!

Hope you do ok on the suv! Those things have took a big hit on re-sale since the gas went up!:)

Sold the SUV today...was sad to part with it...was a nice car. Didn't need it anymore and was happy to unload the gas guzzler. Secures kids' college...so can't whine too much.

True dat! But, we already have 3 cars...and the Z is going to be my DC/Commuter car to replace our 97 sunfire....but the wife already agreed that it's my turn to buy a car since the other bimmer is now 6 years old.
