Have to agree. Obviously this is being sarcastic but the 02 model is not a wise purchase. That year has had many many problems and even if all the issues are fixed, it should be out of warranty by now. If anything does go wrong, it wont be cheap to fix. Also, lots of options and niceties were made standard in the later years so an 02 really just isnt worth it. Besides by the end of this year, we should have the new generation of the 7 series announced which will drop prices even further...

i am on the hunt for a 750i and was at the dealer today. i only use one of hte mechanics there (master tech) but know a couple of other guys and they all said the same thing: the later the better. and they would not touch a 02-03 with a your 10 ft. pole...

Your car may still be under warranty depending on the month in went into service. Confirm that.

the warranty was a 60k or 6 year or something. It just expired
I can extend it for 2900 dollars and it would cover me till 100k
In my other thread i mention my dilemma: I have 2 cars that I love equally, My gs400, and my 745i.(recently Aquired). Both gas gusslers. I will be selling one for a daily drive 4 banger.
