Im going to replace my cruise control actuator today and just wanted to make sure i knew what i was doing. I know there is a write-up on e38.org but i didnt find it to helpful, i was wondering if anyone else had any better instructions and list of tools. my last wiring nightmare has left my a little gun shy to DIY on my car so i want to know exactly what to expect if you know what i mean. thanks for anyhelp.

Thanks Pilk, just read through it and could now most likely disassimble it. Are the actuators for the E34 the same as those in the E38? they look very similar
