on the way home from the bowling alley tonite i got behind an 300zx on the parkway, who clearly didnt want me behind him. he started to accelarate so i matched him staying about six car lengths behind. i couldnt try to pass him because their was traffic everywhere but the left lane. i actually could close the gap but chose not being that we started to go up a slight hill and could no longer see in front of him. his exit came up and he slowed and moved over, i pulled along side he waved and got off. we reached speeds up to 130. i thought he would of walked away from me? maybe an auto? was fun either way.

What kind of car do you have? If it was a N/A 300zx, they arent terraibly quick

What he said - car/trans/mods?

Any E36 M3 or even an E46 330 should be able to best an NA 300ZX. I ran against a 300ZXTT in the highway last week in the 330 and he didnt pull nearly as much as I expected. My buddy's NA is terribly slow.

how about i once got spanked by a 2000ish corvette in my 87 golf as if i was standing still. that was the funniest thing ever. when i caught up to him at the exit of the highway, he looked over his shoulder at me shaking his head gave me the thumbs up and jetted off. i couldnt stop laughing about for a couple of hours.

I like these reports. It lets me know how the competition runs and what I might want to pull on. And what I don't want to pull on.

Yeah...but what's the fun in that? You'll have no motivation to improve yourself if you only fight battles you know you can win :nono
