When will these guys learn that a loud exhaust does not mean you are fast?
So I was on my way to work traveling a little faster than everyone else just to get to work on time when I start to come up on an older black 5.0 mustang. As I'm coming up next to him, I see him looking at me in his rearview mirror but I pass him and think nothing of it. Once I passed him he must have seen the 325is badge and decided to match my speed. I look over at him and he nods his head like "whats up?" so I do the same and he floors it. I was in 3rd at around 3K rpm which wasnt all that great but I gunned it anyway. The guy's car was loud and I thought he was going to leave me behind since I wasnt in the power band yet but we stayed even until about 4500 rpm and I started to leave him. We came up to a light pretty quick and made a u-turn since I missed my turn. So he follows and we line up again...this time I'm in 2nd and in the power band. I give him the signal to go and he takes it. I go shortly after him and catch up then leave him behind easy and am able to stop in time to make my turn. He follows me but stays waaaaay back. Too bad, I was hoping he'd be a good sport and at least give a thumbs up or something. Oh well, it was fun.
