We are either going to have a Meet N' Greet in mid June, or more likely late July. The dates are not set yet, check back in our Calender section once a while. Also, please use Join and sign up with DFW7. I like to see if new member info does get forward to me; as I am the person that send event notice via email to DFW7 members. Thanks.

LOL! Thanks Am3n. Actually, probably more like how to not properly spend $xx on a 7. I previously had Dinan Stage 5 engine mods (CAI, Throttle Body, Air Mass Meter, Intake Manifold, ECU) and VAC lightweight pulley kit. VF thinks some of the Dinan parts (Throttle Body, Intake Manifold) may be safe to go back in. I will do it in stages and see how the VF/GIAC software take them. I enjoyed my car in its previous form with the Dinan mods, just decided to try something new after 4 years.

Will do... :buttrock
P.S- I'm ordering a VF kit shortly for my E38. How are you liking your setup. Did you install it yourself? I'll be doing my install but was wondering if you had any complications... :)

Hmm, haven't receive your DFW7 Wordpress sign-up info yet, did you sign up in the Join (http://dfw7.wordpress.com/join/) section or just left a comment at the site. Sorry, don't mean to be noisy, trying to make sure new member Join (http://dfw7.wordpress.com/join/) function works properly.
Regarding the VF kit, I've only had it for 3 months and during this time my car was with my indy (Euro Connection of Dallas, Nino did my VF S/C install) 1/2 of the time for other un-related mods. The Vortec S/C run strong from 3K+ RPM and doesn't run out of steam all the way to redline (pure butt dyno :) ). Quite different from my Jag XKR's Eaton root style S/C that comes on strong at low RPM but kind of plateau as the redline nears. I like the VF S/C setup, I also like my 3.46 LSD from Performance Gearing (http://www.performancegearing.com/live/). It fills in the low ~ mid range nicely. Only S/C noise I hear is during idle, not so noticeable inside the car.
Cody3 has similar setup in his 2001 740iL, he has the mods much longer and has taken his car to track a few times. So Cody3 is better person to ask. Good luck with the install and enjoy!
