So recently i have been getting a lot of flickering out of my passenger high beam. it has gotten to the point where it seems like a strobe light. Does any one know if this is the bulb or the ballast? I bought the KDW HID kit from umnitza about 2 years ago. I might just go with a whole new HID set up since the cost have gone down. Is there any thing I can do to fix this with out breaking bread?

Check your alternator and battery voltage... I'm having trouble with my 95 M3 HIDs too, but them not lighting up... I measured my battery at 10v (dying yes) and my alternator was only putting out 11v to 13v, which it way too low - Needs to be around 14v+
So grab a multimeter...
HIDs need a nice flow of current to keep them lit and happy.

you don't need to spend 20 bucks on that when you can make your own I did. Similar to the one below for a 300c I installed HID's on. Just buy 2 4700uf 35V competitors from radio shack and wrap it up with electrical tape afterwards. I have to give credit to the guys at 300cforumz.com for helping me.
