- -Was looking at the newer high end cars and noticed that they now come with a passenger seat memory button panel like on the E39 LH door.
Questions follow;

1)Can this be done to the E39 RH seat?

2)If so, what would it take to complete this set up?

knowing that this is not something that is a "need", it's just an idea I had once I say photo of the C-Class Benz door panel.- -:confused

I do it in my office chair for the same reason.
Yea.. I'm hardcore! :buttrock

*edit* "gangsta" is another way of saying "people don't like to ride with me because I embarass them".

I have never heard of anybody doing this to their E39, but it would surely be a cool modification if you could manage it.

I like to have both front seats at identical settings to one another, so when a passenger gets in and adjusts the seats it just kills me a little inside. Haha, it's good I almost always drive alone or with my girlfriend who understands this about me. Memory buttons on the passenger side would make it a lot easier to return the seat to it's correct position when it does get moved though.

I imagine you would need the internal mechanisms out of a driver side seat with the memory function to replace the mechanisms in your passenger seat, also the buttons and brackets for the buttons to install in the passenger door panel. Probably a few other things to get things to function correctly.
