hey guys, so after a few weeks of deciding and looking at different 3's and 5's ive decided to get a 98 528i which i got a few days ago!! I got to drive my friends 328 and i loved how it felt! ive been wanting a bmw since like middle school and now im in college and finally got it !! .... It so much more fun to drive than any other car ive driven lol....Ive been on these forums a few days now just reading up and researching things i want to do to the car. These forums seem to be very resourceful and the community seems pretty awesome so hopefully ill be able to perform some of these diys ..A few things i was going to do in a few weeks were get it re tinted and possibly some xenons and brighter angel eyes. My friend said he could get me a hid conversion kit with plug and play for 275. I was wondering if this was a good deal and is it a good idea? i heard that if you don't have a proper setup you could possibly blind other drivers which i would rather not do. I also found out about depos and was wondering maybe that would be a better idea?

that 14 post rule is also killling me also. but from all the searching for head lights the consensus is
1)Hella (pricey but best quality but some ppl dont like the oem angel eyes because they are yellowish)
2)depo (pretty good quality for the pice)
ddm: i would link but post count rule
umnitza: i would link but post count rule
3) anything else is a crapshoot.
