I think those Aussie's are more LS1 swap crazy than we are, they truly stick it in anything. That pic has been around for a while but technically an R33 isn't much different from an S13 so how about we search for the truly outrageous LS1 swap. I'm off to it...

what??!! why is everyone not liking the LS1 swap!!! A V8 with 350 horse/350 torque thats dirt cheap(well compared to BMW V8's and such) and so easy to swap into any car? I praise the LS1 swap and hope to put one in my car one day.

a) well i was half joking/sarcasm because its still a honda... except now it has a V8 under the hood and its rear wheel drive. better track car than many bmws here on bfc isnt saying much. that car is an insane 10 second 1/4 mile car. there are lots and lots of non track cars on here... X5's, 7 series, 318's (LOL)...

b) i never disparaged it. i said it was insane and it truly is. its one of the coolest unique swaps i've ever seen. making a honda rear wheel drive alone is quite an accomplishment.

If you read the thread, you will see it's not just a "rear wheel drive Civic". The guy literally put the Corvette under the Civic... it's just a Civic shell, full Corvette suspension and modified chassis - and then later on, he's gone nuts with performance upgrades too!

The days of Corvettes only being good for drag racing are long, long gone. Those are world-class performance cars, at home on any track, straight or curvy.
