anyone have any experience with the m3 in snow? im in upstate ny and never really considered the m3 b/c of rwd and low profile. I figured that the 335xi is the most logical choice for bad weather, but if anyone can convince me that an m3 with a dedicated set of snow tires is manageable please let me know. after checking out the m3, it makes the 335 seem pedestrian (kind of crazy that the 335 pretty much is on par with an m3 from two years ago.) but if honest ppl tell me that it will be difficult i guess that'll save me some serious coin

Yeh it will handle just fine unless you drive it like you stole it.

Make sure you put on some different wheels/tires. Those nice 18/19s will look like crap after one winter of grime and salt, and also you'd want narrower higher profile tires to get through the slush/snow.

Does anyone still put sandbags in the trunk over each rear wheel to increase traction?

Not really necessary with the 50/50 weight distro and traction control + the M cars have the LSD to boot. Just get a good set of shoes
