First of all, I have a 2008 335i sedan in sparkling graphite metallic. I was thinking of upgrading to blue led angel eyes. I wanted to know if it's possible to have the angel eyes as my daytime running lights. I called my local dealership and they said it's only possible if you have the navigation package. Anyone know if this is true?

At this time, I do not believe there are AE upgrades for the E90's. But keep your eyes open (no pun intended)

So any ideas on how to get the AE to function as DTRL?

search/learn where the drl module is in your car, find out which wires are for what, and wire accordingly. I think its very possible. But if your not confident in your skills, get someone else to do it. I want a e90 :( .
