I just purchased a house and need to get rid of my '03 4 Runner Limited V8 4x4. If I could keep it, I would but financially I have to sell it.
A little about the car: It is a 2003 4-Runner Limited 4x4. It has a V8 and has an auto 5 sp transmission with 69.5k miles. I bought it with 53k miles in March '07 and only drive 10 miles roundtrip to work a everyday...so the majority of my miles are highway from trips to MI and NC. This 4 Runner has nearly every option ... Gray Leather interior, power windows, power mirrors, power sunroof, power rear window, Factory upgraded JBL speakers, In-dash 6 CD changer, steering wheel stereo controls, stereo remote, factory alarm system, heated seats, Homelink garage door system, 120V AC plug in center console (standard house plug), tow package, on-board computer, and all the standards like cruise, rear window defrost, etc.
I bought this car back in March. I have put almost 17k miles on it in that time and have no complaints. I have had no problems and have only done regular maintenance items on the car. I changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic. I changed all (4) tires at the end of October. They have about 7k miles on them and the last set lasted 63k miles. The catalytic converter was replaced under warranty due to a service bulletin. The original owner was another car buff (SCCA racer) whose wife drove this car. He changed the brakes at about 50k miles and had it serviced at the dealer following the recommended intervals. He also said the majority of his miles were highway from visiting family and driving to his races.
I am asking $17,900 but make me an offer. NADA value on this car is about $22k for private sale so my loss is your gain. This would be a great SUV to drive daily while you keep your toy in the garage...at least that is what I did.
