This thread actually belongs in both the Z3 section and here. So, here it is.

BTW, habbie, a couple of questions. Those who have this light and the Prolumen HIDs, please chime in.

1. On the passenger side assembly, when we try to lower the high beam, the low beam projector goes down with it. Not the case in the driver's side where they can be individually adjusted.

2. Happened for the 3rd time since last night, when I turn on the HIDs, the passenger side doesn't light up. I had to switch the headlights off, then turn them on again, then the passenger side HID flickers weakly, then lights up. What's the cause of this? Never happened with the Prolumens in my Depo Gen IV.

hey Jun,
1. they both use the same bracket, just like the e36 depo/zkw adjusting one means adjusting both, not great but thats how it is.

2. loose connection, check the connector for moisture or corrosion, use a bit of electrical grease too, otherwise swap bulbs/ballast from side to side and see if the flicker follows one part.

did you ever get the lamin-x?

Okay, but it went the other way last night. The passenger side turned on, the driver side didn't. So I had to switch them off and turn them on again and both of them lit up. I doubt it's the bulb/ballast as it happened on both sides now without doing anything. Weird. I will have all the connections checked again.

And, no, I haven't received the lamin-x. The lamin-x I installed on the PZIIs was bought from modbargains and was intended for another pair of headlights.
