5 hour is not that bad. I drive to SF and AZ all the time(at least 10 times a month) and its not bad at all. Just put on some tunes and cruise away :)

Actually Fresno to Diego is longer than 5 hours.

It's closer than Italy. Might be in town around that timeframe, may check it out

... actually... since I live in Fresno and have been to SD quite a bit it's about 5 hours. It's just not convenient seeing as I work 6 days a week. Depending on what's going on at the office I may not be able to get away.
