Man, one of my bosses (a total prick) and I decided to get it on after work today, so on a freeway on ramp, I was ready, in 3rd gear, 75 mph or so, and I punched it... but so did he, maybe even a bit before me, I dunno, but anyway, within seconds he was at my rear bumper, I noticed he slowed down not to rear end me.

So I continued WOT, shifted to 4th and changed lanes, where he proceeded, despite having had to slow down seconds before, to walk by me.

I was no match, it sucked, and I shot down around 110, killed. I need more power. Clearly, at 95 mph and up, those twin trubos really shine.

I need to do that M50 manifold swap...

maybe its ur exhaust too? not enough free flow at high end? heh.. :)

I was the same way before. I was all about using bolt ons.

I learned my lesson. Instead of nickle and diming my way I finally got blown. Haven't stopped grinning since.

exhaust, pullies, intake, M50 manifold, cams... Things will never be the same :D

Hugo, if you get blown like DakarDave's 2.8 you'd be in the 12's, dude...

Although that would be nice, I just don't trust any shop to do that kind of work here, and I won't invest the $$$ for a car I use 7-8 months a year...
