I'm sure many of you have replaced the stock radio. Over the years I have put up with a minor issue so I figured I'd pick your forum brains to see If there's a easy fix or if I'm being too pickey over nothing. Here's the deal....When my radio is on..in aux1 which is hooked to sirius and I turn my lights "on" , the radio briefly turns off for like a second. It's exactly like if your radio is on and the ignition key is in the run position and you start the car there's a pause and then the radio continues! Its driving me nuts...kinda like konz's lights.. anyone?

P.S. No...I'm not going to drive during daylight hours only.

hmmm... i don't think it would happen if you got your light plus connected
to your radio plus. but then your radio illumination will be on all the time.

why don't you take the thing out and see if you have current on the wire
to the radios illumination and then see what happens when you turn on the light.
if that comes out inconclusive i would check the radio main plus the same way.
and if that still leaves you with q's then i'd have look at the light switch.

Sounds like the installers fault! Should'nt be any interuptions unless your starting the car or you have a failing altenator/Batteries...
