I was very surprised to see that his S/C setup produces less brake HP numbers than I have at the wheels. tread72 05-20-2008, 01:13 PM efficency goes down my friends, I love the vortech blowers, he could have mounted a R-trim blower with a IC and called it day. smokum 05-21-2008, 12:42 AM I did notice there is no intercooler so limited on boost...the other thing is that he might have the wrong setup low boost , the vortech kits are mostly for the motors that all ready have high compresion pistons and therefor you only use 5-8 psi of boost .Where as in a low compression motor you could getaway with 15psi no problem.Procharger has the better setup for all things super. http://www.procharger.com/tech.shtml |
