Some of you might have heard of the Rally that I put together, some of you might be registered and ready to go.

“Drew’s Run” is a short Rally dedicated to a friend and fellow car enthusiast who died this past year at the age of 24. Drew had a long hard fight with cancer and managed to pull through, but as soon as things starting getting better he found himself in the hospital again. This time facing one of the most dangerous procedures in the medical field, a bone marrow transplant. He underwent intense radiation and chemotherapy and was putting up an amazing fight. However the infection was proven too be to strong and on August 9th 2007 Drew found peace, he would have been 25 August 12th.

Drew loved cars and also appeared in my last dvd “Ready Fuels” in his BMW M5. One of the things Drew wanted to do before he passed was to take some good friends and have a small Rally/Cruise. However the drive never happened and as we have Drew in our thoughts and his family in our prayers we do this drive for them.



Well we will be leaving Philly area (King of Prussia to be exact) on June 12th and would like to invite those who are not going on the run to meet up with us, talk to some of the guys and ride with us for awhile as we depart for Miami.



We will be meeting at the King of Prussia movie theater at 10:00am and will be leaving at around 12:00pm, between those 2 hours we will be filming and getting the cars prepped and ready for the drive.

i lost my grandfather in feb, he fought a similiar battle. What you guys are doing is great, and i'm gonna try my hardest to come out thursday morning! I'm really sorry to hear about your friend, but boy did he have some great guys around him!

But props to you, BSaint for putting that together-that is really nice, what you are doing on behalf of your friend.

Hope that you raise a lot of money for the charities.

As for the stupid behavior the rest of us are mature enough to not try such risky things on the road. He (Gto Driver) was told not to do anything to jeopardize the Rally or good name of the cause as I would like to make this a yearly thing. I am all for spirited driving, but when other motorists are put at a risk and draws negative attention to us it is then my place to make sure things are made right. Which is a lot of pressure. So anyone who is caught doing so will be sent home early with no hotel reservations or refund.

So maybe next year after we get a good name for the Run we can have some more members.

Im excited. Everytime I think about it I get that anxious feeling in my stomach. See you guys tomorrow morning!

Jealous, I wish I got to go to Florida this weekend. Can't make this meet/send off either..six sigma project until 1pm. :(

Also, next year people should get some type of group buy (if possible) on the autotrain. It will allow for people to rest up for the work week and save the car from some miles. The price is comparable to gas prices anyhow. I just recently autotrained the M3 and M6 up from FL for the summer months and had a blast. Its the only train with a smoking ccart in the US. :) The autotrain runs from Orlando, FL to Lorton, VA.

Yeah I'm going to see what I can do, also everyone from last year will get first priority and also a discount on the Rally itself. It is around $400-500 for the autotrain up which is a bit more then you will pay for gas, but I will throw that around as an option.
