View Full Version : Good salvage yards for E36 parts?

I'm basically a complete bimmernoob, but if all goes well tomorrow I'll be picking up my first E36. It lightly rear-ended another car and is going to need the hood replaced as well as the radiator support bracket that runs from fender to fender.

I called Middleboro Auto Salvage to price a hood and they said $75 "if we've got any." Where else should I be looking? I'd prefer a pick & pull, but anywhere would really do.

TIA

Route 128 Salvage Yard is a good option. It is hit or miss from what I understand. It is right off of 128 in Waltham on Bear Hill Road

Haven't seen any E36 there, just a few E21, E30 and E32. Best chances are green leaf for that. Check the forums or craigslist. I have some parts left from my E36 coupe, but not the hood.

i rarely ever see e36's in salvage yards around here, i would check the parts for sale section here or complete part out section.

And McBlur just got some crappy cloth interior that he's trying to unload.
