his mods-gs-r motor, test pipe, intake, exhaust, cosmetic-body kit, 16" wheels.

goin down route 1 i turn a corner and a red hatchback is on my butt (92-95) i keep it in first at 4,200rpm. i roll down my window and ask him to run his car he says yeah.

beep three times and go on the third, i jump him about 1 car, shift to 2nd, up 2 cars, third...3.5 cars, fourth...5 cars.

However, something doesn't add up here. That car should've run AT LEAST door-to-door with you up to its fuel cut (~110). I wonder if he was in the wrong gear on start?

Not calling BS, just saying that a well-driven hatch with those mods should give a stock E36 M3 all the trouble it could handle (and maybe more).

yet you have no trouble believing a 14.5sec integra gsr can pull 3 cars on a 5.0 mustang up to 130 mph...im confused about your logic.

I don't understand how you could beat a GSR hatch like that, either he didn't know how to drive or there was something wrong with his car. I know your M is fast, believe me I know, Ron's is faster than my car by 2 cars or so. But I had a friend with a modded GSR'd hatch that would just run off and leave me...... I mean by like 5 cars. It was definetly faster than Ron's M3 and he isn't stock like you. The GSR hatch is just faster, but OF COURSE if I had my choice between the 2 I'd take an M3 anyday.
Oh ya, and it ran a 13.9@100 in the quarter BTW

dude ive seen GSR engines in hatches with basic bolt ons run 13.5s...then the other day there was a bunch at the track running 15s all day. they were all trying to race me (I guess they thought they would win and I dont think they had seen me race previously) cause I beat one dude by like 1.3 secs....ha.

I think they are quirky...depends whos driving and who put the engine in maybe????????????

Especially at 4200 rpms in 1st gear ... what were you using to communicate, bull-horns? :D

Maybe I need miracle-ear ... I know with my engine at 4200 rpms in first, there's no way in hell I could be talking to the guy driving next to me ..

Besides, how did you find out ALL of these mods if you just turned a corner with him, he speaks SUPER FAST??

Bm3r i would believe you except you are forgeting about one very important detail..............the cosmetic body kit. Those can add up to 300hp and should have allowed the gsr to absolutely smoke the m3. Come on dude, its simple logic. Btw, he prob had a mitsubishi vinyl in the rear window, and those add another 50hp alone.
