What do you guys think about buying an M3 that has 100k or more miles on it? Bad investment? By more i mean 100-130k not 150+. If it was under $10k and in fairly good condition.

I say go for it if it's in nice shape. With proper matainence they will run well past 150xxx. See if he has replaced the diff fluid and the cooling system might have to be changed.

as long as its been upkept and maintenece is up to date then nothing to worry about.

I have 164k. I just did a 5 hour trip last weekend w/o any probs. Only stopped once for <5min.

with good service records I would not be afraid to buy a car well into the 100k's but without them budget several thousand for repairs into the price you are willing to pay.
