Hey all,

Just as the title states, I put some 745i wheels on my e38 today, and I'm not sure how I feel about them. They are a decent wheel. But I think they magnify my need for some springs..

M-Pars. I'm not a fan of the Style 95's at all.

I like style 95s but i love M-Pars, they just match the e38 so well. They were made for this car.

I love the M-Pars too, mine have some curbage so i'm sending them out for repair considering they are OEM wheels. if they were reps, chuck em and get new ones.

M-pars = YAWN! (too many of them, sorry to be a d-wad)

Style 95 = YAWN! (not as many as mpars, but still)

HOWEVER, 19 > 18

Humm.. Tough Call, nah. I voted Turbines...for something different (and I've always liked them) so it's a tough call. The M Par's are classic... I don't know man. Deff need some Bilsteins and H&R's (or some type) springs.

And I forgot to mention... I'm an ASE Certified tech (and have working CarSoft) so if you ever need an extra hand working on the car.. let me know! :cool

I was thinkin' too... there is another new local guy (NEVector)... maybe 'we 3' (and Anyone Else, of course!) could meet up at Kurver in Albany, Jack's in Wynantskill (AWESOME burgers), or Gus's in 'Vliet (AWESOME little hot dogs!) one of these (nice) days and shoot the bull for a bit. Let me know if you're interested and I'll contact NEVector.

Good Luck with the wheels! :cool

Can you help me put in some H&R stage 2's in front? I could drive to NY. I'll buy lunch :)

They both look great, so you couldn't go wrong with either. But I think the M-parallel wheels edge the others out just slightly. I vote M-parallels.

Why does your e38 look so high?????????????? maybe it's my eyes

I have the styles 95's on mine and I love how they look...the front sits right above the tire and the rear is just a little bit above the tire....hmmmmm...yours looks funny for some reason to me.

Also, I know it's not just my 7 because I had the same wheels on both of my 7's and they sit the exact same way.

actually after driving it a little, it settled the suspension down. fresh off the jack gives dampers some extra umph.

I do love my M-Pars. they are the nicest dish wheel I have seen for OEM. I'm sending them out to get the curbage gone and a fresh polish/clear. The tires on them were shot, so I figured i gotta do something for the "meantime." Got a good deal on the style 95's with almost new rubber, so...

A nice 1" drop wold be perfect in the back and maybe a 1.5" on the front.

The only thing that kills me is the loss of the parallel between rocker panels and the pavement. I really like the even-ness of the car against the road.

Does anyone else notice that?

M-pars on weekdays, turbines on weekends. I voted m-pars BTW

If I said that I liked the turbines, would you sell me the M-Pars? Are they OEM (the M's) if so do you want to sell them? I vote M-Pars by the way.

I would trade my M-pars for turbines. :)

Both look great. I voted style 95s (turbines) because IMO it makes the 7 look a little "fresher" not to mention I think 19s are a perfect size for the e38.

Do you have the Celis style tails?

Those definitely aren't Celis. They look OEM.

What is different with the celis tail light? Mine are just normal bulb with clear backup/signal

They are OEM M-pars, and I wasn't planning on getting rid of them, unless someone had a 16:9 screen & tv tuner they wanted to swap me

+eleventy billion...

M-pars are nice but almost EVERY e38 has them. The Turbines are bocoming more popular, but to choose between the two, I'd do Turbines,,,

Well the turbines are just temporary, I'll probably do the beyern baroques in the next few months.

Or maybe... E30 M3 and keep the e38 as my daily? hmmm.

95's every time. Those M-pars just look so boring on any BMW.

I reluctantly voted for the M-Pars. However I think the style 95 are nice too.
Cogic over on Bimmerboard.com has Black Style 95's on his Royalrot 740i Sport that is amazing!!!
