I bought the turbo kit from a member in the forum and was planning to install it this summer. However, I just recently bought a new car and need money to pay off the new car. The original thread which I purchase from is http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=580244 He wanted 2800 for the kit, but everyone knows that no one buys the price that the seller wants. I actually bought it for 2300 which I thought was a good deal considering I lowered it 500 dollars.
The kit includes:
-Garrett T3/T4 turbo
-DIY intercooler core (blacked out)
-Custom intercooler hard pipes (blacked out)
-Blue rubber intercooler couplers
-1G DSM Blow-off Valve
-Mosselman manifolds
-Custom 2.5in downpipe
-Stainless steel braided oil line
-Custom tuned ECU (1 leg broken, I did not realize the leg was broken until I received it. But I figured a shop could easily clone the chip by soldering a leg back on clone it to a new chip)
EXTRA:
- Chip PROGRAMMER: I’m adding the chip programmer for who want to clone the chip to a new chip that does not have a broken leg.
- Oil adapter
OPTIONAL:
Brand new PLX-R500 – (I bought it brand new for 500 and it is still in a box) Add $400
One of its legs on the chip is broken and if some of you know how to solder the leg back on and clone the chip to a different one, this would be very beneficial and save money from tuning. However, since the chip would work unless one would clone it to a different chip, I’m going to lower the price down from which I bought it for 500 dollars. I figure a custom ECU chip cost about 500 dollars so I lower 500 dollars for a new chip.
PRICE: 2300 Shipped – 500 (Broken LEG on chip) = 1800 SHIPPED OBO. Offer me a reasonable price and I will sell it to you.
One more note, I never got the chance to installed the turbo kit, so don’t ask me how much WHP my car made.
I also have a PLX R-500 Wideband that I purchased brand new for 500 dollars. I never installed it and it is still brand new. If you want this with the turbo, Please add 400.
