Hello

I am selling my convertible here is some information on it. It is a 1990 I do not know why I put 1989 and I cannot change the title.

1990 325i
Hardtop
Manual Transmission
Manual Soft Top
157,264 Miles
WBABB1309LEC01102

The reason I am selling it is because I got an e36 328i and rarely ever drive the e30. I work 12 hour days and rarely have time to even take it out for a spin. I would rather it be driven than sit around all the time. Also the registration ends at the end of the month and I do not have the time or money to get the small things repaired in order to get it inspected.

It drives well and has been maintained by a former bmw mechanic in West Chester PA. The car has been in my family since about 1992; when my aunt bought it used. I purchased it from her in 2002. The records in are in the glovebox for all that. I think I may have a carfax in there too from around the Fall of 2007 if you want me to scan it.

Overall the car would be great as a daily driver, it is showing its age, but would look amazing if some work was put in to it. The drivers side had a semi crumpled front fender and a scratch that goes to the rear quarter panel, there is a dent on the hood where some drunk kid at college must had sat on my hood, there are a few small dents on the trunk as well. The front might look a little off, this is from the car hitting a deer in about 2003.

It has had the hardtop since the winter of 2006 and since then, the soft top has been in the compartment. The hardtop is in great shape from what I can tell compared to some of the others I have seen.

It has a tri-flow exhaust since last summer (so it can be loud, but it sounds great) and I also had a new bosal cat put on at the same time. When my mechanic installed it, he did not see the tri-flo pipes that go from the cat to the muffler, and he used the stock pipes. The tri-flow ones are in the trunk wrapped in blankets.

Sometimes the temperature needle sticks, all you have to do is flick the dash and it will remember where to go.
What it could use:
* New brake pads, about two weeks ago when I went out for a spin, I heard the pads rubbing on the rotors. And immediately the brake light came on.
*New tires, the ones on the car will probably last the summer.
*Some body work (If you are interested in repairing that)
*new tweeter speaker holders for the door, I tried to make my own, but never finished them.

What has been done to it recently:
*new control arms (October 2006)
*Tune Up (October 2006)
*Rear Wheel Bearings and rear shock mounts (Spring 2007)
*Throw Out Bearing/Clutch Work (Fall 2007)
*Guibo Thingy (Summer 2003)
*Oil Change has about 1,000 miles left 10w40, Its getting warmer and about the time I would switch to 20w50.
*The coolant was flushed and replaced last summer.
Some of the dates are approximate, but I do have records for the work.

I would like $2000 for it or will take the next best offer. I feel it is a fair price considering it could use a couple things.

If it sweetens the deal, I will throw in my Delaware State Troopers Association front license plate.

Thanks for the bump.

Sale is pending,

I have contacted the next four members who are also interested. I could turn it into an obo, but getting what I asked for the car is good for me.
