Looking for recommendations on the best paint and body shops around Boston.

I am looking to do a complete work over after this winter. Need the rust removed, new front and rear bumpers mounted, front lip spoiler, etc, and then the whole thing painted. I want it looking brand new with a nice thick clear coat on there so she's nice and shiny. Any thoughts on where?

Just need ideas on places that have both good and bad reps so I can start looking in to them and get some estimates. :buttrock

Today's in Malden. I think BMW of Peabody goes through them.

Be careful with Dicks. They will take a VERY long time, and if you don't keep on them they will try and pass off some shoddy work. They're pretty decent at fixing things after you go back, but there are lots of little things I've found to go back for.

Clear coat peeling 3 months afterwards, no primer used on bare metal parts so the paint just flaked right off, random bolts used instead of payinf for the 30 cent BMW clips, etc.

I've been looking at the completed work at this place for over 2 years now. Their work is flawless and affordable. I recently sent a friend there with is Acura TL and he could not be happier. So I recommend http://www.threesonsautobody.com/index.html

If you don't mind the trip - brother's autobody in Londonderry, NH.

BEST painter I have ever seen on any car and you pay NH prices!

He has dehailed and painted my E46 (most remember it), redid my E30, fixed some booboos on my E36 and is about to do my entire E30 Touring (I need a frequent buyer card).

Anyways, he just finished a restore job on a 64 stang which the owner "did not want to be show quality" to save cash. Well the owner is being charged the less than show quality but the level of work the car could still be shown.

Small family business that just does it right.
