I have a 2002. Every few days it will either freeze on the BMW screen or it will freeze on the radio. The only way to get it to unfreeze is to turn the car off for 5 or 10 min. Also every morning when I get in the cd changer reloads itself. You can hear it shuffle through the cds like you just put it in.

Any Ideas.

My 05 does the momentary freeze thing. Only for a second or two. Nothing more than is getting confused I guess!

I would guess you have either a scratch on you NAV disc or you need a PGM update. I hope for your sake it is under warranty!!!

You need an update with Progman version 28. There is a fix for that in version 28. Only a dealer or Indi with SSS can do this update, and it is NOT under warranty. Expect to pay about $250.00 for the update. By the way, they will update alot of control units with this update.
