$2900 obo
1989 BMW 325i
e30 body style
Black on Black
25ish MPG
230k miles
2nd owner
timing belt, H2O pump and radiator were changed a month before I bought it
Since I've owned it I've
replaced the...
steering rack
tie rods
selector output seal
power steering hoses
Steering coupling
and oxygen sensor
Less than 5k miles on it in the last year
The good:
The interior is a 10/10, you wont find a cleaner interior on an e30 from this year. Granted there are two minor plastic pieces missing, but nothing that wouldn't take about $10 and time (which I can't seem to find) to replace.
It runs perfectly, The head gasket was supposedly replaced before I bought it, but the owner did not have the paperwork to prove it. For what it matters, my mechanic said it did look as if the head gasket had been replaced.
The bad:
There is a small oil leak that I haven't had time to pinpoint. And, the paint is a 6/10. Most notably, the hood has paint cracks under the clearcoat. It isn't that bad, but when the car gets dusty, it becomes more apparent. Other than that, there are a few dings here and there.
Overall:
It is a great car that will run for another 100k miles, if not longer. With regular oil changes, these cars can go past 400k miles.
