I am selling my 1987 325is E30 track car that was used for maybe (5) autoX events. I had this car for a couple of years. It sat at my mechanics for about a year and then I managed to get it set up for the track. I think I drove this car for maybe 1000 miles total. It has been very reliable since the rebuild. Below is a list of mods:
Exterior:
- Paint is not so bad. The top has faded from the Florida sun and little on the hood and trunk.
- I tucked the from and rear diving board bumpers and painted them black.
- The window trim has also been painted black.
- The car has full tinted windows.
- The high beams have been removed to allow for a fresh air intake ducted from the headlight to the stock airbox. (I still have the high beams in the garage)
Interior:
- Fully stripped except the passengers seat. I have the interior in the garage also except for the carpet.
- Sunroof delete including the cartridge (one of the worst jobs ever to do)
- All tar removed from interior and trank
Engine:
- MArk D-sylva high octane chip with rev limiter up to 6900 or 7000 rpm
- Bored out throttle body
- Custom air intake (really it is only a duct from the front headlight to the stock aurbox)
- MSDS headers
- New distrubutor, plugs and wires
- New Timing belt and tensioner
- New oil pan gasket
- Polyurethane engine mounts (I think Ireland Engineering)
- All new fluids (oil, brake, tranny, coolant)
- AC delete
- New air filter
- 17.5 lb M50 injectors
Tranny + Drivetrain:
- all new fluids
- Polyurethane mounts ( I think IE also)
- New driveshaft
- AKG very stiff bushing in the differential (forgot which one but can find out)
Suspension:
- M3 offset bushings
- 25mm Ireland Engineering (IE) adjustable front sway bar
- IE front strut brace
- Polyurethane RTAB's (another terrible PITA job)
- Bilstein sport shocks
- IE stage III race springs
- Ground Control Adjustable camber/caster plates
Wheels/Tires:
- Team Dynamics rims (13.2 lbs) with Falken rt615 tires (40% left?)
I know there is a bunch more stuff that have been done, but I can't remember it all. There is a slight leak in the power steering box, but that is about it. It still has a pretty good sound system in it too. I also have an M30 AFM and some other odd parts lying around....Do I want to sell it - HELL NO! But I had a little baby boy and the car is sitting in my garage wasting away. Somebody should be driving the piss out of this thing. I am actually trying to raise money to patent something, so hopefully this sale will help fund it. Anyhow, these links have some pics of it....

The letters and numbers on the car are stick on and come right off. This is the name of my mechanics shop that helped me out....Price is $5500.....feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
