4pts for #6 - Excellent job on the lighting and reflections.
3pts for #3 - Very clean! Nice 2-door conversion.
2pts for #4 - I REALLY like the Aston tails and look, but the reflections seem a bit off.
1pt for #1 - Nice and aggressive! But the lines look a bit blurred and the rear wheel bugs me a bit.

4pts for 3 - very good chop
3pts for 6 - horrible wheel selection, everything else is good
2pts for 5 - bad color, hood is kinda funky lookin near windshield, rim chop was bad(use the circle selection and then transform selection), front bumper not clean after the stretching of it you did.
1pt for 4 - kkinda clean chop, colors are a little off, wheel selection again sux

3pts for 4 - i'm a sucker for the rear and of an aston, and you tacked it onto the CS pretty well, the color match is great. i guess the little bits that need some work are that the reflections from the body don't continue onto the bumper (very difficult to do) and the front rims seems flat (the perspective seems off). Great job!

3pts for 5 - clean wagon/coupe thing transformation (call it a hatchback?). gets a little messy by the window where you had to extend it and such, but overall not bad. paint is a little flat though, the reflections lost contrast in the color change.

2pts for 2 - I like the cars transformations. pretty well done too, and the rims fit well. I would have smashed the grill to be really short so i could fit a bigger, cartoonier mouth, but that's just me.

2pts for 1 - clean white conversion, and i like the style. as said before the rear rim seems flat (not the correct perspective), and it seems strange to use a different donor pic from those provided.

comments for other chops:
3- nice chop, i'm just not very keen on side chops. the front vent thing looks odd, and the kink wasn't fully erased. the two door conversion is really clean though, and otherwise it's a great chop.

6- not much i can say, front drivers side vent looks a little off tho.

7-nice convertible, good job finding a side that fit the angle. only problem though is that the bg thru the windscreen is different saturations and contrasts between either side of the driver's seat. I like the work with the front bumper too.

8-front bumper is low quality and pixelated, and doesn't fit perspective. also the paint is oversaturated and the decals don't match paint reflections. a valorous effort, but needs help. I suggests google searching photoshop tutorials for car chopping, there's some good stuff on the net. :)

I didn't do it on purpose, I have deleted my pms since then and just assumed he emailed it, I didn't look at the photo when he messaged it to me so I didn't realize it was missing.

Yep.. I'm Client #8... I'd like to Congratulate my fellow Artists and PSDers on a Hell Of A Job! I really took the "Rules" the wrong way when working on my pic. I thought THAT was the pic we had to work with (ie: couldn't change background, etc etc..) and had to just do with it what we could.

My entry also appeared smaller (and blurry-not like my Original) than the others... but it's all good. When it came down to it... Everyone really did an A1 job and I'm proud to have been in such good company! That's, truthfully, why I didn't Pitch-A-Bitch ever during the 'Voting'... I didn't want to come across as being sour at all... because like I said... I'm happy to have been in a contest with such fine artists! (Atleast 1 Positive Vote would have been nice-But Such Is Life!) And as I said... somehow my photo (as can be seen) didn't arrive the way I thought I had sent it (resulting in a blurry, pixelated front end, etc..) and that, too, was my own fault!:)

I had thought about pulling my entry (especially after the comment that "I" should look up Photoshop tutorials online!). But I, HONESTLY, DO appreciate the criticism and, as with everything else I work for or on, I'll learn from this and move on.

having hosted a few, i really just check emails when i post my address and specifically say email them. i'm not going to search all means of contact for entries, and when it comes time to post up the thread, you really just pay attention to the means that you told people to use (because it's what you expect)

Yeah.. That's what I was affraid of. And, unfortunately, I had no idea until it was posted.. and there wasn't anything I could do then without anyone thinking I saw the entries and wanted to change mine. I had worked for a few days on it and I think I just got it mixed up with one of the others I had saved in .jpeg to try 'em out! It's ok though... I'm looking forward to the next contest!

haha thanks, i knew the wheels wouldn't be for everyone, but i liked the M1 look... otherwise i quite accept my styling :(
