I was wondering if someone could photoshop some ideas I had on my car. I need to get some limited body work done to my car since I clipped a snow bank in my parking lot over the winter so for the time being my car has a black bumper on it. It got me to thinking what it would look like if I had the lower part of my car painted black. Basically from the bumpers and door strip down, so I was wondering if someone could photoshop it in a few ways for me. Also would like to hear opinions on it.

Option 1, just how it is but with black from the bump strip on the door down.

Option 2, same as above but with shadow lining the crome around the windows.

Option 3, Same as the two above options but with the wheels painted either black or a graphite color.

I also have the 540 brake ducts ready to go on along with a factory trunk spoiler, but dont need those photoshoped.

Thanks for the help guys, and I look forward to hearing what your opinions are.

Thanks, atleast that gives me an idea. What color did you use on the lower section? I think the black that is on the current bumper is a little darker than that, hard to tell on this screen. I was thinking just gloss black, but those pics are great and will give me a good idea of what it would look like

I used black but dropped the opacity a bit. It's hard to change a color to black on photoshop and retain the lines and what not. If I went for straight black without changing the opacity it would just be a blob of black, so yes, the color on the actual car will probably be darker.

I was thinking that it probably would have lost a lot of definition if that was done. Thanks alot though, Im kinda liking it. The bottoms of my doors need some rust repair anyway so I was thinking that a two tone color would be easier than trying to match it and blend, basically I would need the whole car repainted if I have to do rust repair on all 4 doors for it to be the same color.

What the fuc*! Paint you bumper the same color as the rest of the car. That reminds me to much of that ugly american stationwagon i saw once. With wood, i believe it was.

Your car has too much potensial to do that. Need rims and a huge drop, and its done.

i agree, drop and wheels, in that order. i myself am a young noob and did wheels first, BUT, i feel i can justify doing wheels first because when i got the car it was sitting on two pairs of different wheels, thats my defense haha. i had like two basket weave's and two other wheels which i don't know the name of, they look similar to the weaves but the spokes are more round. what can i say?

i am not partial to the color. it makes it look....difrent, thats all i can say. I would also agree you need a drop, allthough i dont have a dropp so i cant speak there.

Yes, I get it, I need a drop, and apparently so does everyone else on the forum that doesnt have one. However I will agree that my front end is sitting a little high due to worn shocks in the rear, but replacements are on the way.

I like the wheels I have and not really going to be looking for others at the moment, as I need other things worse than that. My biggest concern is that the rust on the bottoms of my doors is getting worse as that is kind of an old picture. That is what spurred the different paint option because it is either fix the rust and end up basically painting the whole car as blending into almost every panel will be needed except the roof, hood and trunk. Or go with a differnt paint scheme.

I really am undecided about the two tone paint as I dont think it works on alot of cars but just thought I would check it out and see what others thought
