View Full Version : Badger Bimmers Presents Annual Car Show - June 14 @ Concours
sachin528 05-12-2008, 09:40 AM Badger Bimmers is proud to announce the annual car show.
This year it will be held at Concours BMW (5990 N. Green Bay Road, Glendale) on June 14, 2008. The show runs from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
There will be food and trophies (I believe the classes are 60s/70s/80s/90s/2000+) and Best in Show. There will be door prizes as well.
The show will run concurrently with Volksfest. This is a great chance to show off your BMW.
More details to follow and an email will be sent out.
Thanks
Sachin

Stop by? Enter your car! :)
slow323Ci 06-04-2008, 03:30 PM By the way, this is a FREE event. And a great opportunity to show off your BMW and meet some nice people.
murdoc158 06-04-2008, 04:46 PM Looks like Andrew Toyota is having "Scion Fest" that day as well. That's a lot of car shows in the area.

I will!! :redspot
1990m3 06-07-2008, 09:19 PM Just to let you all know, you do not need to be a member of the club to come to show your car! Just bring your BMW and it can be entered! See you all there
sleeper13202 06-08-2008, 12:28 PM You may want to check that out with the liability carrier to make sure that people entering cars do not have to be members of the club, as this is a club sponsored event, and the club is carring the liability insurance in their name. Spectators and guests are welcome!

Bases covered. Before I "promoted" it, I verified that all BMWs are able to enter the show. We are good on that part.
MrEvoMan 06-09-2008, 04:15 PM Hopefully, I should be there.
UtorVita 06-09-2008, 10:10 PM Unless my car sells before, I'll probably be there. Seems like a good time.
franco90 06-13-2008, 06:03 PM I be there with my IX

it's gonna be a nice day and a cool show, but you're coming from Ohio? That's dedication. Just to keep you from getting your hopes up there will probably only be about 20-30 cars on display -- that's only an estimate. Hard to be sure until tomorrow.
Mekihead 06-13-2008, 09:54 PM I'll be there. My M3's on sick leave. So I'll be there with my gf in her POS cavalier with shrieking brakes. Just look for the tall fat nerd wearing a straw fedora taking pictures
dustent 06-14-2008, 10:22 AM 94 is still closed between Madison and Milwaukee, so no show for me. :( Looks like I'll have to settle for the Hot Rod Power Tour at the Alliant Energy Center.

Just a word of caution, traveling in Wisconsin is a nightmare right now, I highly recommend against driving anywhere near Madison.
evistor 06-14-2008, 05:36 PM got there late... half drunk... hehe..

murdoc158 06-15-2008, 09:54 AM Wow 5 E30 M3's showed up yesterday. Off-topic would have had a splooge fest. :rofl
M3Esprit 06-15-2008, 03:15 PM Definitely fun yesterday. Great attendance & cool people. Still can't believe I actually came in 2nd (2000+ category). I guess the small number of cars in that category helped. No matter...I'll take it!
sachin528 06-16-2008, 01:13 AM Wow 5 E30 M3's showed up yesterday. Off-topic would have had a splooge fest. :rofl
I think the OT would not be able to comprehend 5 E30 M3s. Their heads would have exploded.
As soon as I edit those pics, they are going up in OT.
Mekihead 06-16-2008, 01:41 AM It was really cool seeing all those M3s and 70s Bimmers. I had to scoot early. The woman had to go to work. I ended up swinging back to see the VW guys. Apparently, I've developed a taste for modded beetles. Wierd.
NCMINIGUY 06-16-2008, 08:45 AM we had to leave a bit early, only got to see two of the E30 M3s. My wife loved the color shifting paint M Roadster, though.
Now I want an old BMW again. I've already been on craigslist looking for an e28 or an e21 or something....

I'm selling my E28. :cool I was at the show I just didn't park inside.
It was a good time thats for sure. I loved the M3s, of course, and the Alpine E36 on Schnitzers.
tortexal 06-18-2008, 10:45 PM thought i posted the link to the pics i took but i guess it wound up in some other thread
