3eggwagon 05-11-2008, 10:21 PM This forum makes me fiend. I want 17's for the ride and I just cant do it. I work in sales and it is a cool job. I sell great beer, the 22 yr old secretary flashes all her body parts, I can dress how I please,,,,,, but I'm making shit for money. The owner can't pay our expense checks right now and gas is getting sky high:ausw_6....... So i am waiting for 1400.00 and paying for my own gas. It's drains my ability to save. So I mentioned giving my two week notice and my boss was like Dude please don't. WTF????? I can't justify quitting but man.
So I washed up the car, did the wheels, and all the black, and told the car that we'll get some rims by our one year anniversary. I went out and took some pics and was going to post them,,, :mad but!,, my girlfriend took and left the camera with the pics at her sisters.. And can't let her know my frustration with this because it's mothers day. :eyecrazy:eyecrazy:eyecrazy:eyecrazy
My energy is jammed right now. I'm like a one legged man at an ass kicking contest.
Don't let a turrible job hold you back knucklehead. But don't give up because its not necessarily the job that is causing money issues. People everywhere (U.S.) are hurting and it's just going to take some time.
Invest in Enron
3eggwagon 05-11-2008, 10:36 PM Yeah. I am trying to buy this coffee shop. We want it for June 1 but the lady is waffling. If that comes through then i can do sales untill it no longer serves me. The situation is just putting the brakes on my car fetish.
I am grateful though that I even own a BMW, I mean what if I had to own an Altima? (shiver)
Hey post a pic of your 325.

Frzninvt 05-12-2008, 01:26 PM I got brand new 17" Sport Edition KM11's with General Exclaim UHP's shipped from South Texas to Vermont for $600. They tossed in new lug nuts and BMW logos for the center caps to boot. Check jettsales_2003 on eBay they have a number of tire/wheel combinations for BMW's. I am going to use my stock rims for my winter tires. Unless you are looking for something special.
cant hit bombz 05-12-2008, 02:12 PM how about a second job? I clean offices on the weekends....it sucks and i don't get to spend as much time with the wife and kids but you would be suprized at how much it helps
sfgearhead 05-12-2008, 02:26 PM sounds like you're on the right track, don't let something as stupid as wheels bum you out. learning how to sell is a great experience, and one that will pay handsomely if you're good.
make sure you've run the numbers on the coffee shop, it's a cutthroat business. but it sounds like you'll be a success someday soon, you're doing the right things.
Goat128 05-12-2008, 02:28 PM the 22 yr old secretary flashes all her body parts,

That's the most awesome confused metaphor I've heard in a long time.
Seriously though dude, you're not the only one in that boat. I've taken to doing side work for other shops to make ends meet.

CleanE34 05-12-2008, 04:16 PM i've had to swamp out my after-school hours with work for a while so i could get the 5er back on the road. everything plays out at the end. the longer you wait the better deals.
zubbie 05-12-2008, 04:32 PM Thank god I'm at the later part of my working life and therefore established (immune) to the downturns. I've been there, however, through more than one recession buying clothes at thrift stores, no cable, no cell, no eating out, wife at home..... Just makes you more hungry and motivated. Keep digging, ears to the ground for opportunities and don't be afraid to take some risks.
Things always work out for those who work hard.
eightynine535 05-12-2008, 07:28 PM never quit a job unless you have a solid offer for a better one.

How you ever survived I'll never know. It's a miracle :rolleyes
Seriously, been there, done that. Wish I had the wife :(
zubbie 05-12-2008, 08:42 PM Seriously, been there, done that. Wish I had the wife :(
Are you sure about that? :)
Binjammin 05-12-2008, 08:44 PM Are you sure about that? :)
Well, I've been doing it without the wife for a good long while not, and that's not really paying off, so yeah. I'll take the wife.
Stir Fry A Lot 05-12-2008, 08:48 PM +1. in house vag-j-j is a myth. lol. on the other note, good things come to those who hustle while they wait. true story.
3eggwagon 05-12-2008, 09:05 PM Like our super special president would say.... " When life gives you lemons don't squeeze them on your potato salad.":D:D " And fight terr" :shifty
I like him for those things.
Yea I just was being impatient. I have two jobs. Starting a third as a personal auto shopper for people who can't figure out how to use forums.
And i think I need more time to think about what wheels I really want
anybody have any opinions about 8 inch vs 8.5 width?
FalconBMW 05-12-2008, 09:10 PM good things come to those who hustle while they wait. true story.
