So i am still searching for wheels. Don't you worry, i am going to buy wheels sooner rather then later. Anyways, i stumbled across these on ebay, you think they would look good, i think they would be sick on my car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Wheels-Fit-Bmw-5-6-7-8-series-M5-525-530-540-740-840_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43958QQihZ025QQitem Z380026120611QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

think anyone can photoshop these onto an e34?

These would fit huh. The fronts at et 11 and the rears are et 24. So it would fit.

Sure they'd fit. Do you really wanna go 16" though? Those are a classic wheel and are best suited on an earlier model... e12 perhaps.

18" ftw.

You should spend money on a drop before aggressive wheels.

I can't stand convex wheels (first ones). I've never liked those 2,631 spoke Alpina wheels either....go 17 or 18, you'll be happy.

I love the look and all. But i am really looking for something unique now. Something no one else has. But i'll prolly end up with style 5's anyways. lol

Are you seriously proposing i stick with my current wheels any longer? Lol, they are hideous. :D but you're right i need a dropp.

yeah, you do need the drop. the color of your car could pull these wheels off. I've always wanted to see them on an e34. They're 19 inch, but they wouldn't look too big. Tires won't even come close to fitting though.

Anyways, on the standpoint of lowering, i found a good deal. Bavautos springs with bielstien sports. Part number SK E348 016 BIL on bav auto, let me know what you think.

There's a black e32 that I've seen a few times with those ... looks horrible IMO. Front gap looks huge and the wheels are just crazy big to be pulled off (especially on a e34).

Bummer. There was a white e34 in malaysia I believe that had reps that looked killer.

They look like cheap china made wheels, also I bet they are very heavy! Try to find a set of forged lighter wheels. Happy hunting.

I hope you're not asking other people to pick which wheels you're going to buy. But if you're asking, I like the style 5s out of all those.

Has anyone seen these Alpina replicas in use? I have an oxford green car, OE, so alpina styling seems to fit better. The keepin' it real escalade wheels won't be happening.

http://bdweb6847j.bluedomino.com/kopi.htm

It probably wouldn't look proper on a black car, or maybe it would, I dunno. But I was looking at these fellas. Can't say how heavy they are.

Other than that, the Hamann anniversary wheels or Breyton magic racing wheels look kinda nice. But odds are they cost half of the cars value.

I'm probably not helping tony, but I'm in the same market at the moment. So I'd like some advice too before I make a $1500 mistake.

with your bugdet you should get some coilovers, well depends if you wanna go real low, if not just get some nice lowering springs and sport shocks and struts.

then buy a set of cheap wheels that just need some tlc, (JUST SAY NO TO REPS).

with your 540 id go 18" with a nice 10" rear, anything staggerd would be hot.

or maybe even 17" with a nice fat rear.

take your time, dont buy some wheels your not even gonna like that much.

I think they look much better black. But i really like the 15" Bottle caps after seeing them on my car. Cheaper, bigger tire, looks good. I am all for it. I need a thicker sidewall, i am still a learning driver, and make mistakes periodicly. Plus it gives a quiter smoother ride, and fills in the gap on the fender nicely.
