Please respond privately with any prospects via email: sriley@cardinalcapital.com

I strongly prefer a silver/black color combination, but will consider others.

I live in Dallas, Texas, but will travel anywhere for the right car

Thanks.

Which color silver are you looking for? The ligther color, or the darker silver? The darker color is an earlier model year, and the lighter silver is more rare. Here is a pic of the lighter silver:

I live in the Austin area, and there are not many cars for sale any where close to Texas. A silver car is even harder to find. If you are willing to travel far, that gives you a much better chance to find a car. Good luck, I have been looking for 1.5 years, and nothing yet...

I would take either color of silver, but would prefer the lighter Silver.

Who's car is that in the photo...and why did you not buy it???

Thanks.

That is my cousin's car. He bought it for $9,000, he bought in a small town located above Houston. That is a picture of it before he bought it. He had it basically completely redone (mostly everything) and it runs beautifully.

Very sweet looking car!

I imagine that 9K is a great deal for E30 M3.. What's the maintainance cost like for E30 M3 ?

9k was a good deal, but this car needed a lot of work. He has spent quite a bit on it so far, but that was total upkeep that the previous owner had neglected. The parts are sort of expensive on an E30 M3 but if you are handy with tools, you can save yourself a lot of money without having to spend it on labor costs. Here is a freshly updated pic of his car all done!

Are you sure that your cousin isn't interested in selling? I would be very interested in discussing this with him.

If he is, feel free to contact me via email (sriley@cardinalcapital.com) or via phone (214-320-3696).

Thanks.

I bought my Henna car locally from a guy who used to have everything fixed. Once he got tired of it, he just let the problems pile up. I bought it for $8400 (probably should have offered about $500 less), and went to town. I used to work on my friend's M3 back when we were in college, so I had the prior experience. Total cost of ANY M3 will be about $13-15k for a very-good condition car. If you buy the car for $9k, plan on spending $4-6k to get it back into shape. Do not buy a run-down or neglected M3 unless you want a track car or you can do all your own work.

Heh, he spent more than 4-6k on his car, a lot more! He did a lot of extra stuff that didn't need to be done but he did it anyway.

I am interested in selling my Alpina C2 2.7. It is faster than a E30 M3, sounds better, and rare. It is a real sleeper but does not quite have the sexy body that the M3 has. This car needs nothing (almost) and I'll deliver it for $9,950.00.
