So I bought a unused TC Kline/HMS 4-pt bolt in cage, less the hardware. I was researching 6x6" steel sheets (1/8" thick) and it ended up being $90. I'm not looking to spend $90 for steel sheets that I'm just going to cut up and make as my hardware for this rollbar. Anybody know where I can find an 1/8" sheet of steel that I can cut into 4 6x6" squares?

Thanks,
Mike

i've bought quite a bit of metal from Onlinemetals dot com

they have good prices. They are in Washington State, but even with shipping i've gotten some things cheaper then they cost locally.
aluminum
chromoly tubing
steel
stainless
perforated sheets
etc.

What hardwear? You mean like for gussetts?

I guess you haven't priced steel lately... Shipping will kill you now...

I would check with McMaster Carr www.mcmaster.com (http://www.mcmaster.com)

Prices are a little high but they have a large selection and everything is almost always delivered the next day.

here ya go

http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?pid=10010&step=4&showunits=inches&id=802&top_cat=849

6" wide by 1/8 thick hot roll steel plate.

just get 2' . make four cuts, and you have 6'x6' plate.
only $8.83.
or it looks like they will cut it in 4 pieces for you for $3.32

UPS ground to virginia (me) is $12.72..
probably about the same to your locale.
so you are looking at $25 total.

Isn't there a metal yard in west chester? I think it was in the same industrial park as the place where you can race the rc cars.
