A guy from my motorsports club and I decided to wash and then have a mini photoshoot with our cars. The location was the causeway overlook which overlooks the floodplane between Davis and Sacramento (which is subsequently flooded.)
I think the pics are neat because these two cars (FC RX7, don't remember the trim level, but its supposedly the fastest RX7 of '86 since the Turbo II wasn't out yet and this model was the lightest... real 'stripper' model. Other car is my '95 325is) are models that both compete in ITS SCCA racing, so I've always kind of viewed them as equals. These two particular models do not... but both do compete in SFR autocrosses...
The FC is relatively stock, it has some performance shocks and that's basically it. We're looking for some high-rate springs and an LSD unit (both of which should be VERY easy to find... GTU's and Turbo II's all came with LSD's...) for his car, and it will be competiting in Street Touring II Solo II. My car has been prepped for STX.
Here are the photos:
*note* None of theses images were photoshopped.

Corbeau TRS's... I love them, to the max. Comforatable enough for LOONG cruises (going to be in them a LOT tomorrow, going down to San Diego), grippy enough for SCCA, and light enough to shame my sports seats (87lbs!!!!!). All in all, a great seat. I got a killer deal on them too...
Steve
dude your car is soo low.
looks good, jet black 325is
was it recently repainted? b/c damn, for a 95, the paint looks great.
94 325is- telephone pole
98 3238is- sold
now- 88 944 turbo, in endless state of disrepair
the base model RX-7 in '86 would be the S4 RX-7 SE. (sport edition, S4 being the earlier varient of the FC3S chassis, ran from 86-88, the S5s from 89-91)

That is a good looking car. Interested in selling those rims?

Thanks! The wheels aint for sale, though... I just got some mad beater 17's for autocross duty, but I dig the bigger sidewall, makes the ride a bit more civilized. In my opinion, these are the best 15" wheels BMW made for the E36... really sharp look.Originally posted by Saloon325i

I have NO idea how they found their way onto my car though... previous owner slapped them on. They are usually on 323is's and some 328's. Bizaare.

great pics, last pic would look even more awesome if the wheel was facing the camera and not the tire.
Damn, your car is low!! What kind of suspension setup are you running? How's the ride? How much did you pay? Nice pics BTW!

Ride is awesome, handling is amazing. Price was a mad buddy hookup, but if you are interested in a GC kit, e-mail erik@edgemotorworks.com... he has the best wholesale price, he'll give you the best deal.
