Help me choose new wheels for my '98 328is

I currently have the stock 16" wheels on my 328is and have the factory sport suspension. I'm looking to move to a nicer set of wheels and refresh the suspension to either factory sport suspension specs or do something like the Bilstein Sport/HR springs. I love the look of DS1/DS2, but I don't know which would be the better option for me. Will either work ok if I go with the lower HR springs, or will I have rubbing issues with the staggered DS2?. I don't want to roll the fenders. And should I stick with the 16" wheel size or move to 17"? I've got a pretty good set of tires on my car at the moment so it would be less expensive to go with whichever wheel lets me re-use them.

what do you have on them now? The style 30s from the sports package? If you want to get value from your tires you should just stick with your 16s. Otherwise, you can get 17s or 18s. Some people put 19s on but that's not optimal. I wouldn't go with HR race springs as they're known to be weak. I think the HR sports are ok. Bilsteins are good if you don't want to get a coilover suspension (read $$$$). DS1s only came in 17 x 7.5s and the DS2s came in 17 x 7.5 and 8.5. Pretty similar, depends on the look. I think the DS2s might be a pound lighter at 21lb I think for the 7.5's. So basically when choosing wheels consider price, looks, and performance. It's a personal choice.

Having said all that I do have a set of 18 x 8.5 enkei's with michelin PS1's for sale:

Let me know if you're interested. Otherwise, good luck with your decision!
